Cquence is an Australian charity organisation dedicated to helping cancer patients manage their treatment funds and navigate the financial challenges that come with a serious illness diagnosis.
Stack Decode rebuilt the Cquence website from scratch on WordPress using the Kadence theme and GiveWP donation plugin — converting client-provided HTML designs into a fully functional, donation-ready website that replaced a bloated, slow and outdated WordPress build.
The result is a clean, fast and purpose-driven website that makes it easier for donors to contribute and for cancer patients to access the support they need.
When Cquence approached Stack Decode, their existing WordPress website had serious performance and maintenance problems that were holding the organisation back.
The old site had been built using Elementor with over 40 active plugins — many of them unnecessary, conflicting with each other and significantly slowing down the site. For a charity website that relies on donor trust and fast load times, this was directly impacting their ability to raise funds effectively.
The client had also commissioned new designs in HTML format and needed a development partner who could accurately convert those designs into a live, fully functional WordPress website — while preserving all existing donation records from their previous site.
The most technically complex challenge was migrating the complete donation history from the old WordPress and Elementor build into the new WordPress and Kadence build — without losing a single donor record and without a full database migration.
This required a specific approach developed personally by Anmol Verma, founder of Stack Decode — using GiveWP’s native import and export functionality to transfer all historical donation data cleanly and accurately into the new site.
Stack Decode delivered a complete WordPress website rebuild for Cquence — converting their client-provided HTML designs into a fast, clean and donation-ready website using WordPress and the Kadence theme.
✅ Full WordPress website rebuild from scratch
✅ HTML to WordPress conversion using Kadence theme

✅ Plugin audit and cleanup — reduced from 40+ plugins to 10-15 essential plugins only
✅ Mobile-first responsive design
✅ Performance optimisation — significantly faster than previous build

The plugin reduction alone — from 40+ down to 10-15 — delivered a dramatic improvement in page speed, security and overall site stability. Every remaining plugin serves a specific purpose, with the majority being essential GiveWP extensions for donation management.
